DVD Architect 5.2 stuck at 0% burning....

Begin burning a dvd project and after going through the prepping it begins burning, I hear the burner running and it just stays at 0% for burning. Time just keeps going up. Also notice while this is happening, when I go into sony vegas 12 and try to go through explorer in Vegas, the tabs are all empty as in under "My Computer" nothing populates. Then when I cancel out of the burning/end the architect program, now the "my computer" populates.

What is going on? Antivirus is disabled, all hard drives are not full. In the past this issue has happened where if i leave and come back next morning I is all finished with dvd popped out. But now im just fed up with this. Got a new burner thinking that was the issue and turns out its not.

solution was, buy nero burning rom, prepare a iso using dvd architect and then nero to burn.

Only issue Im having now is every time after i burn something with nero, it no longer detects a drive. So I have to keep rebooting system each time I wanna burn again.
