Does the Director have the right to kick off the EP from the set

Is the directing suing just the EP or both of you...

If your an employee just like him... hired by the EP... the EP is the boss and should be able to fire who he wants... and I can't see how the director could sue you if the EP asked you to finish the project... but stranger things have happened...

You might want to start getting other crew members to write you statements to the such...

Re OP - Yes, the director can kick the EP off the set. But if the EP is the money guy/person, said director may not have a set to return to.

Key Grip can kick ANYONE off the set for safety reasons.

The "director" was not and is not a Director, he is an acting coach and not a good one at that. This was is first real directing position from what I could see. The EP is the money guy, the sole money guy and he has paid the entire crew. The EP is who hired me and everyone else so how the "director" thought he had this much power is beyond me.

I can say that the "director" in question is not a good person and what he did on set, using his so called power to exploit three women is something I will never forget.
