Cars in Music Videos

I'm shooting a story part for a music video where there is a car scene involved. I'm worried about the potential problems the logo/symbol could cause, as we are sending this video to network to be aired. I'd rather not blur it out, so I was wondering if there are any other options available to me?

I've already considered:
1) Blurring it out in post
2) Renting an unmarked car
3) Picking limited angles that won't show any logo or brand name of car

Any other ideas? Thanks.

Is it your car? what about taking the logos off? and then putting them back in?

Number 3 sounds the smartest way to do it.

Your not disallowed to use a car makers logo in a video, weather sending it to a network or not. It is applicable and not punishable for any offense. So dont worry, go nuts, dont blur a danm thing and shoot from any angle you feel like!

I'll ask my station manager on Monday. There might not be a problem with the manufacturer, but there might be a problem with the particular network receiving the content. Thanks for the advice though!

Ive just cars in music vids before with no probs, just try not to make it the main feature by having other action taking place.
