CAMCORDERS: 'AUTO OFF S REEL LOCK' and 'AUTO OFF UNLOADING LOCK' on DVX100A

I sent a video of my issue below, if you can't watch it here's an explanation.

camera starts up with a white screen
shows what the lens sees but with a blue color along with the text "AWB Ach" in the center of the screen (flashes the text once)
then starts flashing "AUTO OFF S REEL LOCK" while still showing what the lens sees with a blue color (flashes the text 3 times)
then goes to a pitch blue screen with "AUTO OFF UNLOADING LOCK" flashing in the center of the screen and a cassette with a line through it flashing on the top left.

would love to fix this issue, all help counts!

Here is a combination of issues that it sounds like:
- white balance mode that's currently set in the camera is looking for white and can't find it so it can't balance and the last color temperature stays as is
- no tape = no recording (cassette flashing)
- tape locked with physical tab on tape = no recording (cassette flashing)

Try changing the white balance mode and putting in a tape (even if recording externally) or unlocking it to see if anything changes.

Forgot to state in the post that the tape deck doesn't open

Could be a part of the problem...they are finicky and the camera software might not be communicating correctly with the hardware (it's really old technology).
