I did a search for the term "theora" in all forums, with no results...
Does anyone know if it is possible to render your output file in OGG Theroa format? I've installed the DirectShow filters, and can play back such files with no problem. But the render option in Vegas for OGG is only for OGG Vorbis audio, not Theora video.
The Theora format is of excellent quality, and is totally free (as in freedom). So no patent issues during distribution, unlike formats such as Xvid or DivX, which are based on the patented Mpeg-4 codec. I'd really like to get this to work.
Right now I'm outputting to uncompressed AVI, then using FFMPEGtoTheora to convert.
