720x576 aspect ratio 16:9 widescreen

I'm currently working on a project which needed me to render it out a video with a setting of 720x576 with the aspect ratio of 16:9 widescreen , and seems to me each time i render it out it looks distorted it don't looks like wide screen , even i use after effects or premier with the right setting .

is there anyone out there have any idea ??? about this issue .

well it should work... when you make a new scene in AE you should choose DV widescreen 16:9, and you should leave it as 720*576 and when you render a film you will not have to change these things.

sometimes in "stupid" softwares you have to set the resolution to ie:720*405 (16:9) and that will fix the problem but not in AE or Premier
