Adobe aficionados TAKE NOTICE - DaVinci Resolve 14 (v.13 skipped) has been just announced at NAB 2017! Fully rewritten back-end - 10 times faster, new improvements to its editing capabilities and compositing, and just added full blown audio (based on Firelight engine) - 4 in 1. As before...
Light the whole thing with the ceiling - bounce the light from it though you may need to experiment with specific arrangement of how you hit the ceiling (where and how much and from what points) with whatever you have.
I came across this:
"This comprehensive guide to global production incentives asks: why not film in Fiji when you can recoup 50% of your production budget?"

Anybody has any experience in doing something like...
I spent some time trying to figure out how to zoom in/out on the timeline in 10.3. It used to be a small slider at the bottom, and it's gone now altogether with the bottom bar. Which is a good thing since that bar was mostly a waist of space. FYI - that zoom slider is now in the "clip...
I've just discovered this new offering from Adobe that's included in Adobe CC (meaning free for CC users). Since I'm looking for a platform and hosting options - if anybody is using it, can you guys share your experience?
The size of the studio depends on what you plan to do. As far as green screen is concerned, any more or less good green screen is a significant investment. One-wall screen is good for simple jobs (mostly interviews) and static camera. With some trickery and ingenuity you can do miracles with one...
Interesting article in Washington Post - "I have found a new way to watch TV, and it changes everything"
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/06/22/i-have-found-a-new-way-to-watch-tv-and-it-changes-everything/
about watching video content in fast forward. There is also a sample clip...
- Shot Designer (available as a mob app and desktop) I think it's around $20
- Cadrage (this is a director viewfinder - a phone/iPad app - $11
- FrameForge Previz (this one is rather expensive and I don't use it frequently and when I do, the result usually goes to Shot Designer - see below)
-...
I'm getting emails and phone calls from various sources (Adobe and its dealers) offering savings "as much as 33% for up to three years on Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams." But it's the same pricing on all options. Oh, and offer ends Aug. 28th. If you think about it, such offer implies that the...
This tutorial may not answer all your questions but might still be useful and give some ideas:
http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/advanced_soft_keying/
If I were doing this I'd consider several factors
- Requirements for quality
- Avaialble equipment and software
- Keying skills
- Safety (especially when it comes to flying)
- Budget
For highest quality, I'd do all green screen shooting indoor preferably in a studio (with a good green screen...
7:30 is a bit late even for this time of the year, but at my location (VA) the sunset is at around 8:40 today so I think you can still pull it off. You can use Sun Seeker app to check the sun position at your location, elevation, shadow ratio and even check the 3D view of the sun at your exact...
Your footage looks remarkably flat. Cinema (as many other visual media) is an attempt to squeeze 3D world on a flat surface (in this case - screen). That's why we try to find ways to make it look on the screen as we see it with our eyes.
There are many things that go into this: composition...
An action in the room and simply moving the camera are two different things. If something is going on in the room itself like moving objects ( regardless of whether the camera is moving or stable) you will need a green screen approach.
If you move only the camera ( but nothing else moves...
That's what I thought and said. Now I'm thinking that he wants to shoot some action in the room itself for example people or cats/dogs, etc. Obviously masking the opening will not work in this case. If this is true, I'd simply shoot the whole thing with green screen and used the room (with...
If I understand correctly what you want to do - i wouldn't use green screen at all. You deal with straight lines only, and it's super easy to mask out everything between the doors. You need literally several seconds to do that.
I use C300 with MoVI M10 - total weight about 14lb. If I did it again, I'd never use Ronin; it's too heavy. I'd probably go with Letus Helix - in fact, I bought it but returned quickly. I probably wait for about half a year before trying it again. IMO for the moment Helix is far from being a...
