Is there away, or is there a camera/company out there that already does this?
How sweet would it be if it isn't already available?
I am talking about a camera that can measure how much light each photosensor is getting without having to stop it from gathering light. That way it can record...
Ok... let me just start s conversation, don't put too much weight on my initial post.
I am looking at the Nikon user thread and the Canon user thread.. this is my only reference for comparison... but:
Does Nikon saturate more? For some reason I seen to think that the Canon pictures are...
I was looking at the news and heard how close and big it was. I took a peek out the window and there it was! A glowing pink cloud not too far in the distance.
Hope everyone stays safe and their houses spared.
The lens is at a 140mm equivalent. I think it must be about 10 - 15 miles away.
Since the D90 doesn't have a full frame still 35mm sensor, and as far as I have been able to find out it has a/or about a 16:9 motion picture 35mm sensor... does this mean that 35mm still lenses will be longer when used on the D90?
I didn't think about this but it would make sense... I am a bit...
I am looking at some still cameras, the Canon D5 and the Nikon D90. I looked at the sensor dimensions and they are different. The D5 is 35.8 x 23.9 mm and the D90 is 23.6 x 15.8 mm.
I guess the D5 would have much shallower DoF...
What is the size of S35 mm for motion pictures?

Thanks!

I just hacked my Canon A630 to shoot interval sequences and I want to make a timelapse from them.
They are 8MP shots (3264 x 2448) which in of itself might present a problem because my project attributes don't allow for a big enough project.
I also want to be able to pan through them as if...
How easy is the workflow?
Since the cards hold more time I suppose the footage is lighter therefor, does it edit faster than the MXF files from the HVX?
How's the color correction in comparison to the DVCPRO HD form the HVX? Can you do as much to them?
Thanks!
I am doing some research for a couple of guys for fishing shows and wanted to see what's out there.
First of all, the main points are recording time, resolution and ease or post with Vegas and FCP.
Off the top of my head I think the ones I would be interested in would be the:

_ 170

Nope... not yet and not for a while really. But it was "You Are My Sunshine" :) It will be tricky though... I don't know if we'll be able to pull it off as it requires a certain quality level to work. Like making the song... only now it becomes even harder to make the creepy mix work. We'll see...
What's your guess?
:beating a dead horse:
I know the pixel count, a little over 200%. But Since the HVX is not 1920 x 1080 native and with pixel shift it is somewhere between 1080p and 720p I wonder if it is worth the hassle to you.
I am trying to decide if I should shoot 720p for some...
I need to register this script but I already plan to change it. I count on making some tweaks to clear up a few small holes in the story but these wouldn't affect the story much at all, they are mostly better justifications for things already in the script.
Should I re-register it or save the...

This one goes for $41 and it would give you 90min of 21Mbps footage.
It is a class 6, and I have used several RIDATA cards before without any problems (on other devices).
Any better deals out there? I am only interested in...
It was rather easy, barely had to study at all, but hey... I hadn't taken a test in a while so I came out with my arms in the air. At least that made all of the people in the waiting room smile, some even chuckled :D
