    How to output 24p footage to DVD and for broadcast?

    I just purchased the DVX100a and need to edit footage in Vegas 6 for both cable broadcast and output to DVD. Should I shoot 24p or 24pa? How should I capture and edit plain 24p footage in Vegas 6? I understand how to do it with 24pa footage, but am not clear on how to handle 24p.

    Straight to DVD movie: 16:9 questions

    I'm planning on shooting a short movie using the DVX100a intended for straight to DVD and for entry in festivals. Should I shoot in 16:9 or 4:3? Squeeze, Letterbox or using an anamorphic adapter?
