If I'm doing a live streaming show with greenscreen using Tricaster, does the codec matters (XAVC-I or XAVC-L) or 422/420 or the camera matters when I'm not even recording?

Does anyone think the LCD screen of UX180 is pretty bad with very low contrast and does not represent what is being recorded? I find it hard to judge the white balance and exposure compared to other cam such as Sony x70 etc.
