I just purchased an iMac a few days ago and just downloaded final cut pro hd. I have a Sony HDR-FX1 and am trying to capture footage in final cut. The problem is it doesn't detect the camera even though it's on, in vcr mode, and plugged in through firewire 400. I'm used to premiere on windows...
