the sensor is still the kodak one. but unlike the machine vision camera you don't have to be tethered to a laptop. the internal FPGA buffers the data to SSD then reads it out to dual CF. the FPGA will also handle the audio, menues, crude B&W video monitoring etc. the mockup:
