    Nizo 4056 vs 6080, much noise difference?

    Heard both the Nizo 4056 and 6080 are super quiet. Anyone played with both and discovered the 6080 to be that much quieter to justify the extra cost (since I'm not interested in too many other extra features)? Also, a salesperson wants me to avoid the Nizo 6080 b/c of reliability issues...

    High res still frame scans

    I'd like to be able to scan individual frames to make them printworthy, for retro looking ads, promo stuff, albums, etc. See the last 3 pics from the left hand sidebar of this article. Know of any scanning devices that would achieve this end? Any slide scanners or film scanners that will fit...

    Barry Green - Workprinter transfer - new opinions?

    Saw in a post from 7-13-2005 that you recommended the Workprinter for transfer only with reversal stock. Are there DIY machines that excel with negative films, or is that process too complicated to be cost/time effective for the little man?
