I have a Pelican 1660 for my 350F XD . I am unsure of whether to transport it with the lens attached or make a seperate compartment for the lens and a seperate compartment for the body. What is the safest method?

I want to film in 24fps but in Australia we use PAL. The instructions of the XD CAM F350 say that it is only possible to film 24fps using NTSC. Is there a way to get around this? Should I film in NTSC and then convert to PAL? Thanks
