I am here to learn from the people that have more years in the business and are talented - those who can teach us and offer wisdom or advice mistakes or success they made - as well as gear suggestions. I will do my best to offer my knowledge as well as I’m 15 years a freelancing video director/DP. Bought the 5D Mark II in 2010 before the firmware update came out where it allowed video, first it was 30fps then it was a 24fps. Back when Canon actually innovated wisely. That was the biggest revolution I’ve seen and I’m lucky to have learned at the beginning of. I’d still say that 5DMKII was/is the best of them all. And I’ll say the Sony FS700 with the Odyssey7Q I still have. That’s proven to be future proof as well. Now I shoot on C500MKII and R5. I also am collecting vintage FD bayonet mount glass (Late 70’s). Anyone who is interested in any of that above that let’s chat. Also K-3 S16 owner, it’s kind of a pain on the arse I must say.
