I wonder which device they put on the main character in PI to get this close ups in which the background is moving and the person is steady. How these mounts are called? Is this effect made by a steady cam and they simply turned the lens towards the actor.

hey there, I"m here in middle asia with a big problem: the blinking red cross in the dvx 100 ae display tells me it"s time to clean the video heads, the material has lot of fragments and is pixelized. The camera left something like less than 100hours behind, so maybe it"s another problem...
