Our Flick is a bit too long for the contest but I thought this might be a nice kick off to the Fest.
Shot in 1 night with a bunch of friends, some of whom you might recognise.... eh em... CHUCK.... Shot on the HVX for about 200 dollars in costumes and food.

I need some advice, I just met with the cinematography for my next short and he thinks it would be best to shoot in 30P. I searched the forum for topics on this but found nothing. He thinks it will be sharper, not be so jumpy on camera moves and look more like a transfer for TV.
What do you...
Here is a short I threw together to test out my new light kit. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Yes Yes I know it's a little "Ringesque", but I like it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to nest video layers like you can do with Final Cut Pro? I have a keyed layer and a background layer. I want to cross dissolve to one video layer... is this possible of do I have to set opacity keys?
Has anyone heard of this kit or used it in the past. I was all about getting the Lowel DV Creator 55 until I saw this... but it's a no name.

what do you think?
I can't seem to figure this out... I imported a premiere pro project into AE created my effects and now I want to bring everything back into Premiere Pro. I saw this in the Total Training dvd that came with AE but they don't explain how you actually send the footage back...
Does anyone know...
Here is a link to the trailer for my short film "La Bolsa".

I've heard others on the board talk about how they fall in love with their work, but I am the exact opposite. I am actually disappointed with how this film looks, so any feedback would be...
Why isn't there an easy way to export 16X9 squeeze footage from Premiere? Why doesn't the export movie function interpulate the footage? Why do we need to play with Adobe Media encoder to get the file to the right size? Am I missing something?
I finished shooting my film and after importing all my 16:9 squeeze footage I noticed that one of my clips was shot in 4:3 standard mode. If I crop the clip to fit the 16:9 footage will it work or is there something else I should do?
Am I crazy or is this image squeezed? it looks fine when I'm editing in premiere but when I export it seems to be squeezing the image.... Any ideas what the problem is?
