I would be interested to know if anyone has attempted to hook up a Sony FX1 to JVC HMDH4000 D-VHS recorder through a fire wire connection and was able to record to the JVC VCR in HD. This would appear to me to be an efficient way to transfer HD recorded on the FX1 to a TV without fire wire...
