    Use camcorder mic as computer mic

    Hey, I'm wondering if its at all possible, to use ones camcorder mic as their computer mic. I have the Rode NTG-2 microphone for my DVX, and I wan't to use it to record audio without having to use premiere to record some footage with the lens cap on, then extract the audio from that footage...

    RODE NTG2 on DVX100B (help!)

    Hi, I'm considering purchasing either the RODE NTG-1 or NTG-2, which brings me to my question. If I go with the NTG-1, will that suck out a noticable amount of life from my DVX battery? Should I then, go with the NTG-2 to avoid that? I'm just worried that the NTG-1 will slowly suck life out...
