I see some dvx100a's being sold on the web with the words 'upgraded version'. What does this mean? thanks

I was over at cnet reading an editor's review of the dvx 100a and it was mentioned that it wasnt the best cam for low light conditions. From what I've seen it looks pretty good. Does anyone know of a better cam for low light conditions? thanks
