I just bought a 8" Ikan V8000 HDMI monitor for my HPX 170 and connected them using the sdi out on the camera through bnc but I get no image on the monitor. I've tried every port on the monitor but get nothing. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you edited to add: Thanks...

I had read somewhere that the DVX should be stored in a position where the base is horizontal to the floor. Does the HPX need to be stored in the same way or can it be stored on it's side or pointing downward because it's solid state? Hope my question makes sense. Thanks everyone

I'm doing a shoot on the coast and we're looking for a Super 8 Kodachrome look from the late 60's - 70's. I have some ideas but thought I'd check with the wealth of knowledgable folks here. Thank you for the consideration.
