I can't afford a mac right now i'm close to post and i would like to know what the best editing software is for a PC. A couple people have mentioned Vegas, i would like a program that allowed color correction and decent motion effects. Thanks

My dvx has two xlr inputs for lavilier mics i just bought a shotgun mic but it only came with the standard output and adapter plug what kind of an xlr cable do i need to connect to my inputs?
