I have a DVX 100 A. I haven't used it in awhile, and don't remember how I changed he scene selections, or how I played with it. Is there a way to reset everything to original factory specs?
Can anyone tell me if there is any kind of hands on "Boot Camp" offered to completely learn the operations of the DVX 100A, or...a NEW comprehensive DVD that does the same thing??
Help! Can someone tell me how I can reset all the scene files back to the original factory settings, the way it came out of the box. In experimenting with the camera, I've altered all of the various sections on the scene fole wheel, and now I'm totally confused on how to reset them.
Thanks

Can someone please suggest a good extended life battery? Even the 4 hour one that I have craps out in an hour. Someone told me I have to go to a belt type battery to get any real time. Also, is there a dependable light I can mount to the camera?
Thanks!
Gary
Has anyone had experience using this device called a "Fig Rig"
It looks like a steering wheel that has a mount for the camera and other accessories. I'm not really grasping the difference between just holding the camera with your hands, and holding the sides of this wheel? The makers say it...
I have a Sanyo super 8 sound camera. Does anyone know if super 8 magnetic sound cartridges are still available? Is the camera worth anything? I also have a Eumig super 8 sound projector that needs some service. Where can I look?

I went out and tested some "Magic Bullett" settings. Different cinematic combinations. Rolled tape. Shot in full sun. I noticed my meter ws reading 90 percent and above. Pretty blown out. Put a polarizing filter on, didn't help much. What else could I have done to bring down the light...
Does anyone know if there is a COMPREHENSIVE instructional DVD on the DVX100A ??? Or a class somewhere?
2nd question: I'm shooting in full sun or partial sun. What would be a good set of settings to get qualilty film/look.
When I see the behind-the-scene shots of feature films, I se them using a short stubby-like book mike. What is it? or even a better question is, if money is no object, what's the best boom mike available?
