Not sure if I'm just completely overlooking something very basic, but I can't seem to force a render (ex. Cmd+R for selection or Cmd+Shift+R for entire timeline in FCPX) to get smooth playback.. The cache rendering is very sporadic, and I never get efficient results. It pretty much just renders...
