Say wha?
1 fits all my ancient lenses
- Flange distance smaller on the FS7 - Anything that can go on the C200 can go on the FS7, not true the other way around.
2 skin tones, don't forget the skin tones
... Nope...
3 no Sony look
... Nope...again... see above -> thats ungraded, screenshot...
I currently own Zeiss ZE glass - 28 (2.0), 50 and 80 (both 1.4s)
I've been on the fence about getting the Zeiss 35 / 21 ... Or what has recently caught my eye are the Leica R's. I'm heavily leaning towards unloading my 3 Zeiss lenses and getting 4 Leica-Rs (eventually 6 I'm sure.. heh)
Any...
Centre Scan is definitely softer - 100%. I use it every weekend shooting weddings and can tell from looking at it while shooting -> Its noticeably more difficult to nail focus as well (and the peaking isn't as sharp)
Even knowing that, I use it all the time because I can get shots I can't get...
I've shot for a few clients that have had the same hurdle in their mind.
If you're using CineEI, choose a LUT you like or custom make your own, and burn it in when shooting (just make sure you don't drop the ball on the exposure ;) heh).
I've been shooting weddings this way and its been great...
Update - apparently they do go wonky!
I have no idea how many hours are on the bulbs I have. I bought a new bulb and installed it -> iPhone photo not the best to judge from, but its a very obviously different! (These are both daylight kino true match bulbs)
Yeah might just be they've all aged together.
Going to try and get my hands on new bulbs and see how that goes - will update!
I'm picking up a Diva next week actually to go with these - switching out all my tungsten lights -> They physically did not look so great, and were a bit more of a pain...
Yeah... wtf...?
I can get them to 5660, but I have to use 1/8 CTS, 1/8 CTO, and 1/8 MINUSGREEN to do it... which drops down the output a fair bit.... Do-able... but I guess I'm more wanting to determine if they should around there anyway..... and wether or not its the bulbs, ballast...
The 6 daylight ones I have are the exact same as these except for the date
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/434717-REG/Kino_Flo_55Q_K55_True_Match_Quad_Fluorescent.html
Mine say 2008-4-14 (I assume this is a date)
Going to look around to see if I can find anything about 7k bulbs though!
Picked up a set of Barfly 200s - They came with true match daylight and tungsten bulbs.
The tungsten ones look great, read 3210
The daylight ones looked really cold, so I let warm up for 30+ mins -> they are reading over 7000k.
Trying to figure out if its just the tubes that need to be...
Yeah no way of bringing that back. You can definitely change the colour... but I know what you're saying.
Never ran into that issue when I had my C100. Strange for sure. ND the heck out of them probably the best bet
Will be going for this LUT in the next week I'm sure! Look forward to it!
This made me try tweaking lc709a myself in Resolve actually. Saturation bump, midtones VERY slightly towards red (ish), and a touch more contrast. Surprisingly happy with how it looks in cam (did another version exactly...
Example (not 2 hours... but same idea)
Opening the AVCHD File gives me the three clips that were recorded in the quicktime 'preview'.... (I hit record 3 times on this card)
I choose clip two which is 48 mins... it opens in quicktime and plays (this is the play bar in quicktime)
However if I...
