Hi, Did a quick test running Samyang 35mm on around 1.8 and a Sigma 18-35mm with MC11 adapter also on 1.8. No settings on camera changed. Left Samyang. I would have expect a difference in DOF not in color. Any ideas?

In search for a fast wide angle zoom. There are a lot of options combined with an ef to e-mount adapter. But will a ef-s lens work too? For example the SIGMA 17-50MM F/2.8 EX DC OS They're a lot cheaper. I like the stabilization. Focusing mainly by hand.
