Hi all I've searched around and as far as I can tell the DVX100a, HVX200 and HPX170 all have the same zoom/start/stop connector. Any suggestions why my DIY controller works fine on my DVX but the zoom doesn't work on my HPX? (Rec button works though.) Anyone else had the same problem? thanks

Looking for an older 100mm bowl fluid head tripod, prefer a wooden legged Miller but O'Connor or similar ok. 70's or 80's, must work well but beaten up appearance is ok. I use a Miller 20 series 2 with the HPX170, great for day to day use, but it's too light for the ultra macro work I'm doing...
