Ashfire Films

My name is Ash Ahrens. I’m a 2002 grad of ISU in Radio-TV-Film. Like most communications majors, the stuff you learn in school is pretty much worthless. Nevertheless, I’m determined to learn the craft. I’m a freelance camera man in Illinois and shoot weddings and local commercials. I’ve got a Canon XH-A1 with wireless and shotgun microphones. I also have some DIY gear like a jib and track dolly. I’m writing and producing a short film this year for festivals.
