I have read that the extension is not compatible with their new blimp with the rycotes? Why - are there different dimensions for screwing it on? Or is it about the lyres in the newer blimp? Any help is appreciated. I am trying to use it with a NTG-8 mic that is about 22 inches long. THANKS.
