Quentin Tarintino's Top 5 Films of the year

Domino was the closest I've come to walking out on a movie in a long time.

I like the pulp fiction avatar for you John ... it fits your surlier moments ... maybe I should use Jack Nicholson to give all my posts gravitas

I kind of miss that ole Walken avatar; I retired it and was using that deathly looking one (remember the quitting smoking months when I was an asshole?) and then chose the new one for a more chillin experience

You should use a Jack one for sure !

I think I missed it, when exactly did that period offially end?

...or start for that matter?

Domino is fun to watch if you are a colorest. It is evey crazything you would want to do with a picture and show to your friends and never use. You never get to do things like that and there is a good reasone. I like Domino for this fact only and I do like tony scott. And Keria has always been my girl

Domino would probably be a good movie if you didnt have to follow the plot-line at all. Wait, what plot line??

We really SHOULD HAVE walked out of it TC!

I do agree it is very visually stimulating. Eye-gasmic= great description!

As for Keira, she's better in her other stuff. This role didn't work for me.

Nice to see I'm not alone in my view of Domino's complete suckiness.
Pure cinema vomité. And yes, that's a technical term.

No alveraz, it's a touching story of unrequited love, a love that spans time and gend....
Ah, forget it, it's a movie about gay cowboys. :)

Never saw it. Probably never will. Not quite my thing.

The sad thing is, a few years back after writing a Western I told my wife, man, I'd love to write a film about a couple gay cowboys. I then grabbed a twelve pack and forgot all about it....

damn it all to hell. (true story)

Yeah I was wonderin about that ... only 1/2hour in between ... but maybe they were just refering to the prerecorded clip with his zit.

I think that he was right on with two:

Hustle and Flow
and Sin City.

The two best movies of the year and in my mind, it's not even an argument.

I still think El Mariachi was Rodriguez' best film. It had the raw energy of an indie film. From Dusk til Dawn was fun too. Desperado was eh. So was Once upon a time in Mexico. Sin City just shows that RR is going Hollywood, budget wise, but doesnt want to admit it.

We need to have another zombie-fest with all the ressurected threads lately.

:zombie_smiley:
