Dark Side of Oz II?

So Pink Floyd does the "soundtrack" to Wizard of Oz yadda yadda yadda. Just wondering if other album/movie pairings should/shouldn't be conceived...

DJ Krush and The Professional?
Tom Waits and Leaving Las Vegas?
Streisand and Se7en?

I dunno...

Okay -- let me just preface this by saying "i know this will make me look like a stoner. But I'm not! Maybe a bit...But not here!"

BUT HEAR ME OUT!!! = )

Okay:

Kid A - by Radiohead
with
Nightmare Before Christmas

Everything works together. There are track sync ups, everything. AND! The secret track at the end of KID A matches up PERFFECTLY with Santa Claus coming out of the sack.

Not to mention that on its own, Kid A -- in relation to the other radiohead albums -- does not make a lick of sense! "Treefingers" is the most out of place song I have ever heard. It just doesn't sound like it belongs on the same album.
But it syncs right up with Jack going into the forest to all of the holiday trees and finding christmas world!
Then it goes into "How to Disappear Completely" with Jack peaking in all of the windows and not being noticed.

It's absolutely beautiful, and I can't believe more people don't know about it. There's such little net coverage about it. But if you look for it you'll find it.

Start the music exactly as the movie starts. no lion's roar or anything.

and I am not one to advocate such nonsense if I don't believe in it 100 percent.

:costumed-smiley-047 DO IT PLEASE, so someone else will agree with me!

This one is a bit of a stretch, but wouldn't it be cool if it did?

Tool Anema with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Hey, if we're just making up combinations, what about...

When you listen do the Dark side of oz, do you stop after the cd is done? I just put the CD on repeat and keep watching, I think if i remeber correctly the Great GIg in the sky comes on when she asleep in the field, or maybe it's Us and Them. Either way keep watching.

Not to turn this into a Radiohead post, but in repsonse to abraham up there, Kid A makes all the sense in the world. What did you expect OK computer 2. Not for Radiohead they are to good for that.

wow, hey man, no way! I am not knocking Kid A in any way shape or form. It's one of my favorite albums. I'm saying that the album as a whole, on it's own, does not flow very well from one song to the next -- PARTICULARLY into Treefingers. But this Sync up makes everything make COMPLETE sense.

And I'm about convinced that they did it on purpose.
