Car Chase Mounting Gear

I'm doing a 'high speed' car chase scene for a video next month, and I am wondering what my options are for mounting a DVX to the exterior of the car. Ideally, I'd like to mount it on the side of the car to get some of the wheels spinning in the shot. I'll also do hood mounts, and maybe window mounts for an interior shot.

Will the StickyPod hold up for that? Gripper (from filmtools.com)? Or would I be better off renting something?

Might be a good time to look into insuring my gear, too, eh?

I have one of the film tools grips and works well. I've used it up to ~100 mph with a Sony VX2000 w/ wide angle adapater (weight?) with no problems.

I always tether my gear though, just in case....
