HVX and the CHROSZEIL LWS System

Hello folks,

Can anyone tell me if the Chroszeil Light Weight Support Bars Plate and Rods system for the DVX100 will actually fit onto the HVX Camcorder?

and

Has anyone purchased the Panasonic 17" LCD Monitor for their HVX yet? if so can you provide any postive/negative feedback.

Chrosziel makes rods specifically for the HVX (well, it's a combo FX1/Z1/HVX unit) so I don't know if DVX rods would work.

Jay Nemeth's got the 1700 monitor, he flat-out loves it. I've used it a couple of times and it's very nice. Looking forward to the 26" version, but the 17" might be the sweet spot for field use and studio use.
 
Many thanks for the reply Barry. I've tried mounting my Chroszeil Rods from my DVX to a Z1 and unfortunately theres a substantial off set. Bugger! So you've helped me in answering the first part of my question, more expense for the upgrade to HD, just what I need.

I've spoken with Rush from EVS in another thread regarding the 17" and he's getting back to me as soon as they get more stock, I'm going to sink some cash into one of these things.

My next question would be has anyone got any web links for a V Mount Battery Plate to 4 pin XLR that I'll be able to attach to the back of the monitor?
