Well I just got my Zyban cycle started today. This is insane, under two weeks until I am a nonsmoker. That's kinda cool.

Congrats to everyone who sees quitting through. I applaud you. I know it can't be easy.
I've never gotten the whole smoking thing, so I'm just thrilled when someone gives it up.

Guys I think I'm gonna start smoking. My girlfriend left me, my dog died, and my DVX keeps giving me the Red X of death. Just can't take it anymore. Just one toke...
Cool thread... but old. I gave up two years ago almost? ANyway Im about same age as you John, and last summer I ran the 100mtr sprint in a local sports carnival and won. You must be feeling pretty good by now being as long as it has. I remember one month after I gave up, I couldnt believe how amazing I felt.
My one piece of advice for quiters: Never is it ok to have just one cig or even one toke... I repeat never. Dont ever make the mistake of thinking its just one and your past it. And, stop paying your money to companies that profit from esssentially killing people, you work hard for every dollar buy something nice for yourself. In my first six months I put all the money I would usually spend on cigs aside. Once I hit six months I bought myself a reward, same at a year. Stop for a year and theres almost a new hvx, or well on your way anyway (based on Australian prices I use to pay).
