1st speaking part on a real movie shoots wed and thur (weather permitting) and looks who's on the call sheet -- knew about Denzel from the sides at the audition but ...

Denzel Washington
Jim Caviezel
Val Kilmer
And me!
+ four other guys and the female lead (unkown actors)

it's directed by Tony Scott and there's also a Stunt Coordinator and 4 helicopters scheduled for that day!

I play a criminalist (blue windbraker, rubber gloves, hopefully some cool forensic tester thingies)

I have one line -- its at crime scene and its a one line part like the beat cops or forensics guys on law and order when the regular series detectives show up and the day player gives them some info on a crime.

Have to read script today, lol.

Break a leg, Jack.
Cheers

on the well deserved opportunity.

Awesome! Through your agent? Or through Kerry Barden, the CD for the film?

I'm interested because I was actually waiting for a callback on this, but it never came :(

that would be awesome ... but I don't know how I could do that ... will play it by ear but I have to be pretty respectful and PRETEND to be unimpressed or awed.

I will pack a camera and hope that opportunity presents itself -- you can't take candid shots though or you will get thrown off set:eek:

I got it through my agent. Tracey Kilpatrick did locals casting here in Louisiana though.

Thanks for pats on the back all. I'm excited even though it's kinda silly - it's one step up from background - but cool cuz I will be SAG now when I go to NYC and just cool to be on set and get to soak everything with catz of this caliber.

Rock on, Jack Daniels!

So, does this put your move on hold?

Well I was "on hold" for a couple of weeks with these dates in mind and the final deal was officially offered last week -- so it has always been part of the plan ...

which was / is

left our apartment last night

got our own hotel room in Morgan City (90 min outside NOLA) at the same hotel that the film company is using -- parked the big ol' u-haul in the parking lot

they'll pay for tomorrownight, wed night, and thursday, then we drive to new york.

So we couldn't stay in our apartment -- we're just sort of turles with our house on our back for 4 or 5 days.

Kinda Crazy
