My new life's ambition...

I've decided I don't want to make horror movies and write horror books anymore.

I want to be........

an Olympic Curler!

How cool would it be to have someone ask,"What do you do?"

"I'm a curler."

Priceless. And probably the only sport my physique could possibly pull off!

You need to understand how the game is really played, not the sissy Olympics version.

Go to your local curling ring, and drink.

Now play.

A much better "sport" after a few.

hehe so I've heard. I saw this special on the town where most of the US players are from... saw lots of beer... might be my next vacation spot... 2010 Olympics here I come!

Ok now it all makes sence. I think getting plastered and throwing a rock down some ice that would be fun. It is like drunk bowling always have a good time there

I can all most see a movie with Billy Murray playing the loan American Curling team reject who gathers a bunch of india/pakistani gas attendents to form a winning team !!!

Just kidding and no offence to India or Pakistan. I love em all.

Watching the NBC broadcast and Ice Dancing (something else I don't get...ballroom dancing on ice...whatever)...the commentators said something to the effect that Sally and Joe Front Porch can't do this. Ok, I'm offended. I may weigh 175 but I am hardly a front porch.... jack asses...pass the Doritos....

Curling is huge in some parts of Minnesota, but the drinking can explain that.

I was at my buddy's place the other night and he was drinking and watching womens curling. He came up with a great idea to boost ratings... low-cut tops.

I keep telling my wife that it is the way I will change my citizenship (Canuck here). My dad is an ice maker at a curling rink. I grew up playing, it is a great sport. It is the only sport where it is unwritten that you go drink with your opponent afterwards. I am looking for a team. And Minnesota is the curling hot bed of the US. Who is in. Vancouver 2010.

Horse

Alot of them where skirts. But not all of them you want to see.

There is a curling movie with Leslie Neilson, Men with Brooms. Not so good.

most of my friends up here in oregon are kinda obsessed with curling too - and we're all 20-25y/o snowboarders and skateboarders heheh...i think its the fact that its such a stoner friendly sport

you go get a blunt and your boys and your curling....rock? and just chill out.

not enough ice here tho - we just play bocce on lazy summer days...anyone else play bocce? the sport of kings heheh

I think the reason Ice Dancing and Curling are becoming so popular [if you can call it that] in the Olympics is because of the women, some of them are hot.

I could imagine myself putting my hand between Belbin's legs for a lift, [I hope Belbin is the woman...] she's hot! Of coarse that would require me to get my fat ass off the couch - that ain't gonna happen. And have you seen the "Woman of Curling" calendar?

After watching skating with the stars and aside from my male chauvinists attitude fantasies, those Ice Dancers are really good. And did you see how hot that Russian babe is? Sorry I digress…

Norway owns the curling world.

Oh well, at least we were good at it... By the way, the japanese women's team has some sexy girls :D

I thought I remembered hearing something during the 2002 Olympics, that the official rules of curling actually included a clause that the loser had to buy the winner a beer. Does anyone know if that's true...or did I just dream that up in a drunken curling hyponotized state?
