Creating "spazzy-movement" with pro2

What i need is a hand that is modeling a clay figure move in a "spasmodical way" as in vibrating or trembling. Its that kind of effect seen in horror flicks where someone shakes violently when like possessed
Sort of imagine your hand on a washing machine as it dry cleans!
To be more precise, if anyone has seen the movie "the secret adventures of tom thumb" (1993 -Dave Bortheick)
that is the exact kind of movement i´m after!!
thanks

I know what sort of effect your looking for ... i use pro 1.5 with the matrox card and that has an affect built in called....i think tremor or earthquake and it does exactly what you describe but there is nothing within pro 2 that i know of that can create this...sorry

Paul.

Thanks for the reply but "earthquake" isnt what i need. Earthquake give the impression of the whole clip moving as in a "earthquake" and everything get out of focus. I need the hands to be in focus, vibrating at a high velocity but not moving all over the place. The only example i can think of is imitating a person with Parkinson Disease ( but much faster) -extreme tremor but without moving from its postion other to pick up a pen and write
thanks for the help!

I'd do it while shooting- (assuming 24P)

1. Set camera to 24P with 1/24th shutter
2. Have actor practice movement (the modeling of clay, not the shaking) slowly, half speed or slower.
3. Have them add the shaking.
4. Shoot, Speed up in post 200% and you should be close to look you seek, tesing may be neccesary.

This will only work if the only moving object is the hand and what it is manipulating, remember it will only work if everything is done half speed while shooting.

i havent found a great way to do it in PP, but AE has "the wiggler" which i used to make explosions rock the camera movement.

Plus, you can use an expression to change the "velocity" over time.
