found amazing super cool trashed warehouse location for my scifi short

they will probably let us shoot there for $200 for the week but they are nervous about liability

Can you get cheapo production (general liability) insurance for a next to no budget short?

Any recommendations or contacts greatly appreciated!!!

thanks,

Jack

Not to poo-poo anything, but I'm always kind of wary of "cheap" insurance.... perhaps I should have put the quotes around insurance as well....

I hav enot used them yet, but check out RVNuccio.com
Annual insurance for your business.

Short Term production insurance (especially with $1mil personal/property insurance) is always a tad expensive. I usually go through the film emporium and on average it costs between $700-$900--www.filmemporium.com.

I also like film emporium because you can request insurance certificates online and have them e-mailed to you for printing/faxing. Word.

Isn't the point just to satisfy the person who owns the location? If it were up to us, we'd probably never even get insurance..
