they are cheap
and now they have 6 month free hosting...
thats where i am being hosted
but so far i bought 3 domains from 1and1.com

or godaddy.com also pretty cheap...

I think I've just been stolen a domain.. :-/
I went to yahoo and searched for it, and it said clearly: available. Then I hesitated, and checked some others out. Fine, I wanted that first one, so I start asking for it, and yahoo just doesn't respond, I kept getting the "60 seconds...expired..."message. for like, an hour.
Now, Yahoo still's not answering, and 1and1 says it's already registered!!!!
And I'm 100% percent sure it was available an hour ago, is it possible?!?!?!
Am I just going paranoic and insane, cause that really pissed me off!
damn.
And it's not registered in my name...
i hate this.

I guess its possible. If yahoo is hanging, try seaching for it on another site.

I use Godaddy.com for hosting, but I can't get my email to work through them. I can recieve just not send.

I just checked their whois and this is what I got:

Record expires on 28-Apr-2011.
Record created on 28-Apr-2000.
Database last updated on 2-Mar-2005 19:05:46 EST.

!!!! so it was never mine... :'( :'(

Try activatemediainc.com; my business uses them and it works great, especially for how cheap they are.

I usually register domains through godaddy, then host them on my own servers. Can't beat their cheap prices...

use the Godaddy wholesale site which is BlueRazor.com

You pay a small membership fee but after that all your domains are dirt cheap.
