I have read and studied quite a bit on the art of filmmaking. Many books on directing, cinematography, and screenwriting.
Yet, what I have not found many books on at all is the practical side of filmmaking. Budgeting, managing the set, working with the crew. I have been searching for books like this, but it seems like most books are marketed towards micro-budget filmmakers. This is not what I want. I am much more interested in features from the 500K to the million dollar range.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good books on these subjects?
Thanks.
