Questions about SENNHEISER ew100 G2

With the EK 100 G2 receiver and SJ 100 G2 transmitter you can choose different preset banks and each bank four channels that have preset frequencies.

If this is a correct statement what would be the incentive to use different banks/frequencies?

A. To find a clear frequency in your area

B. To use multiple systems at once

A) correct

B) false

If you are running several G2 systems at the same time, you better use the SAME BANK, as the frequences within a bank are chosen to have minimum interference.

Read the f***** manual...

He did ask about both the different banks and frequencies. :)

Petrus is correct that Sennheiser does recommend staying within the same frequency bank with the 100 series. (And, just for the record, the preset banks inside the receivers should not be confused with the frequency blocks A & B. :) )

The frequencies in a single bank are all IM-free.

If you have 100 series and need more than 4 - then program frequencies 5 - 8 of the same bank that you are using (find them on the printed sheet) into the User bank to give you 8 IM-free frequencies.

Do *not* mix frequency banks at the same location - choose the best bank with legal frequencies for your location.

EG: in the UK - version E bank 8 (first 4 frequencies) are legal all ofer Europe without a licence. Bank 6 (8 frequencies) are legal all over the UK on a special "shared" licensed basis (about £75 per user per year from JFMG).
