"typical" = knows a thinly veiled spam when they see it. if you were TRULY interested in feedback, there'd be no need for me to produce a credit card. that not being the case, i can only assume you're here hoping some of my friends in this community will to sign up and forget they need to cancel their membership before the automatic monthly payments start. am i close?
 
Jesus Christ! You DON'T need to get a credit card. It's a free trial with paypal which you can cancel yourself.
Any new business/website requires feeback and to be honest, I would have been happy with feedback on the home page.
Unfortunately forum guys completely refuse to see past spam. It's ridculous.
If it was spam, I wouldn't have just removed my initial post. Paranoia of the highest degree!
 
paypal = i have to give you permission to collect funds from my account in order for me to give you feedback on your site. a decade ago, I used to run subscription sites and i know how much depends on people forgetting to cancel their membership before the free trial ends.

so how about this... create a dummy account with the login..

and we'll all check out your site and give you constructive criticism?

i input my statement of "rofl" not because i regarded this thread as spam, but because it's funny to know that someone thinks that people will want to pay for this.

you do realize dvxuser.com alone has an established community full of articles & forums, where people can communicate, bounce ideas off and assist each other? why would someone pay $7.99 or w/e for access to some articles written by someone who probably has not made a single feature film?

This isn't about the payment system, this was about feedback on the content but fair point on the trial login. I should have done that actually.

Nouou, that's a valid point also. The plan was to later bring someone on board in the field later but for now, the price is next to nothing. I didn't write the information, I just created the site, with the intent on marketing it and wanted to test the water before taking it to the next level.

That bit was some valuable feedback, thanks.
