Lighting the master shot, any pics?

I was going to argue, that 100 W lightbulbs and such fine detail were only possible with very few cameras and the red with fast glass is one!

Thats one thing I like about RED with fast glass: you can work with almost no light at all.

You can probably film inside a tunnel with a flashlight and make it look superb.

Thanks Keegan. The DoP was Garret Benson. I gave him as much time as he wanted for that setup. Now we need to shoot an other day or two and we'll finish the project. I have been busy with an other project though, so we haven't gotten around it.

And imagine the new ones with a slightly higher ISO rating.

I just scouted a bar that looks spectacularly lit and said to myself. I wonder if we could shoot this as is? Of course we might not want to shoot with a 2 month old camera so we might shoot on Red One instead. But with a set of super speeds shooting at f2.0 and sticking to the wider end we should get some very nice stuff without having to bump up the ISO too much. ISO600 should be clean as could be when down converting to 2k for 1080p. Then we might be able to just use one 1k's off the ceiling (big bar so three of them spread out) and mostly stick to 300's maybe one or two 650's as out keys. Well I am no DP or Gaffer... but you get what I am saying I hope... the ability to not drown out dim lighting that you like. It would really help low budget stuff!
