New Black Magic Intesity v3 drivers for CS4 just released

You are correct . I see where I went wrong. (Wrong readme file)

Thanx.

Let me know how it works anyway.

Just saw them too, Decklink updates as well, i got 2 decklink extremes and an intensitiy waiting :)

I hope the multicam is fixed

Installation was a bear, as it won't see CS4 if it's installed on a different drive than C:\, so I had to unistall everything, then reinstall it on the C:\ drive, which caused a couple of crashes when uninstalling the BM drivers (which is kind of impressive, since my computer is normally rock solid). But, everything seems to work just fine now. Haven't captured anything, but playback seems to be okay.

Now, if Cineform will just hurry up with Prospect HD v4 and the BM support...

They've taken out the stop on drop frames switch so you have to scrub over unrendered content, seems buggy right now

doesn't anyone no if the Decklink Presets ever included MXF support because they appear to also be gone, the HDMI Video and Decklink Audio is NOT synced with no options and it take forever for the renderer to pickup once you hit enter, im not a happy camper

Installed the Blackmagic Intensity Pro update for CS4 Premiere the day before yesterday. Premiere seems to work as it should, but if I export a project to Media Encoder or Encore the system goes haywire. Flash output files are nearly black and are useless. Try to burn a BluRay or DVD and the burn craps out with an error message.

Update - the v3 Intensity update for CS4 Premiere is a disaster on our Vista Ultimate 64 system. I spent an hour reinstalling Premiere and did the Adobe updates after going through the Intensity Pro upgrade. Then at least Media Encoder and Encore finally worked properly.

Then I checked the video outputs of the Intensity Pro card and they were still outputting just black just as they had previously, ie no video off the time-line. So I tried to reinstall the new Blackmagic update in Windows "Control Panel" "remove programs". Windows reported it couldn't because there was no msi in the right place. So I went back to the Blackmagic exe for the v3 update and tried to uninstall using the command in their application - immediate Blue Screen of Death. Long reboot, then tried to 'repair' using the Blackmagic v3 exe - another BSD.

Had enough of this. I have contacted Blackmagic and if I don't get anywhere I'll get my money back on the card and give up on it and on them.
