SGblade Beta Tester Reviews & Feedback’

[el presidente]

Interesting eos control though, with a port for future enhancements (could that mean a focus pull within the lens?).
We should continue this in a more relevent thread.

hey wayne, can i get the XY adjustment ring for the flip separately?

[TimurCivan]

It's battery powered. Comes in an unlabelled box. Vibrates. Could be a lot of things.

Haha....

[TimurCivan]

The EOS control ability is VERY cool.

Shouldn't someone have their blade by now? I'm really anxious to see some more footage!

Hey guys,

I got premiere working again and gathered some of the random footage I shot with the canon a1/sgblade rotorazor2 setup while I had it.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to edit hdv properly on my computer now, I can only see stillframes of the footage(laggs terrible) and no preview possible.
So I kind of just cut a bit here and there and threw a random song at it afterwards.
Jeez, took me an hour to export a 3 minute clip from the premiere timeline, I want a mac!

Well, it's not very entertaining stuff, but for those who want to see more canon a1 and sgblade rotorazor2 setup, here it is:

Smettli - were you using mostly ambient light for the shots in the last half of the video?

[PaPa]

THERES the KILLER bokeh.. Man thats hot

[Smettli]

Indeed, the lamps we used are the ones you see in the frame

[Nomalz]

Wow... Smettli, this is definitely the best footage out of the SG Blade so far. Hope to get mine next week... my EX3 is waiting !

[Smettli]

Post when you do!
Man, I really miss that A1 now...

[mvansomeren]

Nice! I'm dropping that ROTOrazor 2 into my blade tonight!
