On Wednesday The Orphange closed (although their animation studio didn't, diff. company). Stu Maschwitz was one of the founders, who also wrote the DV Rebel's Guide, created the Magic Bullet plug-ins, blogged at ProLost, and gave so much to the community in general. They were also one of the few champions for using AE in a feature film compositing pipeline. I was saddened by the news, got a little teary eyed. Best of luck to them all!
