Chick flicks you are embarrased to like.

THE two ultimate chick flicks....

"The Way We Were" & "Love Story"

I double-dog dare you to beat those...if you can watch them without shedding a tear...you're not human!

:cry::cry::cry::cry:

sidenote...both are really good movies too!

I liked Mean Girls... thought it was a god awful chick flick, but when I saw it, thought it was really good for a high-school-ish movie.

Does Love Actually count? I really like that movie too.

Amelie
His Girl Friday
As Good As It Gets
When Harry Met Sally
Lost In Translation
Holiday
The Philadelphia Story
Hairspray (2007)
His Sassy Girl (KOR)
Love on a Diet (CHI)
Heart and Souls
Benny and Joon
Gross Pointe Blank

...Actually, I don't think I'm at all embarrassed that I like these movies. I think everyone should watch them, ladies AND gents.

The Devil Wears Prada.

Loved it. "The Truth about Cats and Dogs", that's my big one and one I saw again recently "What Women Want". And have to add Woody Allen's "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" (Hmm. A lot of Helen Hunt happening there) and "Anything Else". I don't know if CotJS and Anything Else are specifically chick flicks but they're chick flickish.

Bridges of Madison County.

NEVER! THREE VAMPIRE HISSES! This film is forever my nemesis!

Hehe, I'm rewatching "A Life Less Ordinary" on hulu.com right now. I forgot how much I liked it... and how much it's a chick flick... a really strange chick flick. I like the surreal story line of the angels, and etc.

Oh well!

Oh man, Let's not forget the really odd clay animation ending during the credits. You have to wonder about that... did the director just have extra money to burn or what? :)

Moulin Rouge gets me wierd looks on occasion, but generally find a lot of straight guys like it once they actually see it.

Amelie and Juno but those really aren't embarrassing at all and I've seen both referred to as cfs. Both can be classified as chick flicks in a sense but there's nothing too repulsive to a guy in either.

I'm not afraid to say I like "chick flicks" I'm very secure in my manliness. :-)

French Kiss, Moulan Rousge, Serendipity, Bridget Jones Diary 1 & 2, Pride and Prejudice (the lighting in this movie is superb)

Does The Reader count as a chick flick? Saw it last night and thought it was awesome. Raph Finnes and Kate Winslet are two of my fav actors.

Kate was an ice queen in this movie.

Loved it.

Just saw Devil Wears Prada on TV the other day and was oddly captivated - reminded me of Miss Congeniality but not crappy somehow. Also a big Love Actually fan. Have seen it many times and will see it many more :) Not embarrassed about that. Now my Hillary Duff fascination is a tad embarrassing.

Far and Away
Little Children
Titanic

Not sure if those two really count as chick flicks. Far and Away and Titanic are both romances, but have elements that put them in the "it's for both dudes and chicks" category.

And some of the previous ones mentioned:

Legally Blonde
Sixteen Candles

are good ones as well.

Random embarrassing fact: I watched a crappy movie on the Lifetime Movie Network this past weekend because the main character was so dumb I had to see how many stupid things she would do by the film's end.

- Chicken Little
- Chicken Run
- The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
- Any KFC Commercial

Wait ... what kind of movies are we talking about?
