DIY Screen Housings

Here a few of the many GG housings that I've made in the last three years and have moved on to a another design.... again. I'm now on my 9th design and seems that every time I get close to completing a design, something is either discontinued or I just get bored of it.

Thanks guys. :)

"Do you still use your Beattie screen?"

Not at the moment, I've actually gone back to making ground glass. If you're wanting to know a little about them, I can say that they're great screens and are extremely bright. However you'll need a condenser to avoid hot spotting.

Here's a job that we finished with the fourth setup ( Ee-a screen Housing ). If you look closely on the top of the metal securing ring, you'll see a 2 mm socket head screw. This is probably one of the best things I've every incorporated in any of my designs. This is for adjusting the flange distance to proper focus for any setup onset.

Higher Quality ( however I still need to work a little on the compression though )

For those that have asked, here ya go.

I'm actually not going into production with this product anymore. Long story. I wasn't going to show any of the prototypes for patent reasons, but I don't really need them anymore i guess... I've spent almost two years on this design and well should have pushed it harder and faster, now that this 35mm adapter technology is just about done.

so enjoy !! :)

Here are few pictures of the prototype

Verry well done Film (thou I would have used some longer lenses) and verry slick "taktical" adapter design.

It´s a pity that you don´t made it to a comercial product.

I would have loved to, but finding a great optics company to make 72mm/82mm achromats is impossible. Not to mention that the adapters are being replaced with the Red cam scarlet.
