Some screenies from day 1 of Team Blackout's new music video "Gotta have her".
They are known from Run's House on MTV. One of the artists is Run's son Jojo.
Today was just B-roll, tomorrow performances.

That's what's up Aram! This lil dude's father AND uncle are legends.... This could lead to very very big things man. break a leg homie.

Some question:
Where are you guys shooting, in NY? What kind of budget are you working with? Is the group signed?

EDIT: Just googled it and saw that they are signed.

Yeah man, big names and the show Run's House is doing well so its a good look. We are shooting in NYC and the Bronx. Today we are shooting at City College around 1pm to get Jojo's and the guy who sings the hooks performances.

They are signed with LatchKey recordings.

The song is called "Gotta Have Her"

The director and I clicked big time and he just told me that I'm signed to shoot a feature with him that's slated for Feb-March and we met some other artists who want us to shoot their music video so we meet with them next week. I did this for a discount knowing that it would generate more work and it worked. I even busted out the RED on this one.

The performances are shot in 4K and the story line stuff was shot 2K in slo-mo.

woo hoo! That's awesome, Aram! Congrats to you guys. The news sounds great and the images are sweet!

It was fun once I got to Texas. It was such a strain trying to get out of NH. Everything kept going wrong to not let me leave.

But I am out now and I am having a great time. So nice to be in t-shirts and shorts again. (i know, I know... Not exactly "summer weather" but it is leaps and bounds warmer than New England.)

I just took a road trip up to Waco in my RV and had a great time with the gang there. Ended up having a small party in my rig. Total fun.

Things sound great for you! Awesome. Looking forward to working and seeing again sometime. I hope that it is sooner than later.

ciao!

Damn, that last still is ridonkulously sharp. Sorry I couldn't be there, homie. I sold out on you like wii's on black friday. :)

Anyways, looks like you held it down.
