17 Photos of Isabel with Natalie Portman shooting down the street from me.

So I walk out of my building today to go to the subway to go to work and I am almost smacked in the head with a C-Stand. So I think to myself - that can't be a C-Stand, gotta be something that looks like a C-Stand. So I continue walking past this 18-wheeler and notice on the side is written Panavision.

The entire street of Lexington from 91st down to 87th and every side street till then was filled with production vehicles from grip trucks to catering mobiles, to bathrooms, to wardrobe and trailers.

Coming back from Wall Street I noticed a sign that said "Love and other possible pursuits" was shooting and traffic would periodically be held. Name apparently was changed to 17 Photos of Isabel.

No - I didn't see Natalie Portman. No - I didn't get pictures. But man, I thought I've worked on larger productions. This was insane.

I can't wait for the day I can have a Panavision Grip Truck at my disposal. That is an entire farm of C-Stands.

I would of went straight to the catering truck, "Yeah, today's shoot is a bit**. Give me a plate of the prime rib, end cut if you don't mind"

I don't pass up any opportunity for a free meal.

Speaking of free meals, I went to the annual employee Christmas party at the local casino (my aunt works there) and was surprised to find they were offering their entire buffet for free. I was pleased. :)

Chuckchansi? Funny thing, I did a major Search and Rescue exercise there at the Chuckchansi Park right below the falls back a few years ago for my cadets when I was Deputy Commander- Cadets, for Squadron 112, CAP.
